This 78-kilometre circular Great Route invites you to explore the essence of Marco de Canaveses, linking several of the routes that make up the municipal Walking Route Network, but not only.

Walkers will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the Douro, Tâmega and Ovelha rivers, among many other waterways, as well as explore the Montedeiras and Aboboreira mountains, their landscapes, flora and fauna.

The presence of historical and cultural heritage is almost constant, including various monuments that are part of the Route of the Romanesque.
