Avenida da República, 207, Paredes
The Casa da Cultura [House of Culture] is also known as "Palacete da Granja" because it was built by a Portuguese immigrant who returned from Brazil in 1822. In this building you can see a few typical Portuguese elements, such as the yellow tiles on the façades and its large windows and doors. It features a small garden, where you can stroll among the sculptures, which is livened up by outdoor shows, exhibitions and cultural events during the summer.
