From one of the highest points of the municipality of Paços de Ferreira, the Monte do Pilar viewpoint, you can actually see the sea on clear days. You'll also see the chapel of Nossa Senhora do Pilar, the statue of Christ the King and the Portuguese Air Force radar station.
