The Roman bathhouse of São Vicente do Pinheiro, dating from the late 1st or early 2nd century, was built in order to take advantage of the medicinal waters of a spring by the river Camba. It is an isolated building, with an area of about 250 m2, which includes the usual rooms for both cold and hot baths, connecting atriums, service areas and water catchment structures, with several gutters and sections of the plumbing still being preserved from the era. The Roman bathhouse is part of the current São Vicente Thermal Baths.
