The Skating Museum was inaugurated on 1 September 2025 at the Paredes Multipurpose Pavilion, as a result of a partnership between the City Council and the Portuguese Skating Federation.

A permanent space for memory, identity and appreciation of national sporting history, the Skating Museum celebrates 100 years of skating history and the various disciplines that comprise it: roller hockey, figure skating, speed skating, skateboarding, inline freestyle, inline hockey and roller freestyle.
