Igreja de São João, Rua da Igreja, Ovil, Baião
The parish church of Saint John of Ovil marks the beginning (and end) of this circular route (12.7 kilometres). Out of curiosity, you may see part of a Roman frieze on the north façade of the church, a trace of the first temple that was built here. The trail runs across the Aboboreira mountains, through traditional villages, megalithic monuments and enchanting landscapes.
