This 8.2-kilometre circular walking route is a gateway to the soul of Sobrosa and an invitation to get to know its inhabitants, the ‘chocolateiros’, a nickname that comes from the old tradition of stopping in the middle of the afternoon to drink coffee with cornbread, prepared in a ceramic piece they called a ‘chocolateira’.
As well as the built heritage, especially the various manor houses and the parish church, the trail also highlights the richness of the existing natural heritage, namely the dense network of water lines and their utilisation through small reservoirs, washhouses, mills, fountains...
