The Church of Saint Mammes of Vila Verde, in Felgueiras, is hosting the Green Gastronomic Fair on the afternoon of Saturday 17th August. Entry is free.

As part of the festivities in honour of Saint Mammes, the "lawyer" of the intestines, the Green Gastronomic Fair aims to promote the Mediterranean Diet and raise awareness of the importance of healthy eating and sustainable family farming.

This event, organised by the Bem da Terra cooperative, has the support of the Route of the Romanesque, which will be represented with a stall and which will give a themed talk on the Church of Saint Mammes of Vila Verde at 5pm, led by technician Joaquim Costa.

2pm - Opening
Showcase of the best products that the land has to offer: teas and infusions, vegetables, bread, honey, fermented products, liqueurs, sweets, mezinhas, wines, aromatic herbs, craft beer, jams, handicrafts and much more....

2.30 to 6.30pm - Table talks: showcooking, tea and infusion masterclasses, workshops, talks, recipes and tastings;

7pm - Eucharist in honour of Saint Mammes

8.30pm - Dinner (with prior registration)

10.30pm - Concert “Canções do Sofá”
