On Tuesday 10 June at 9.30pm, the Monastery of Saint Andrew of Ancede in Baião will host the multimedia concert Camões - 500 Years: History, Music and Poetry, as part of the national celebrations of the birth of Luís Vaz de Camões (1524/25-1580).

Promoted by the Vox Angelis Association, the show presents an integrated approach to the poet and his work, combining historical narration, image projections and musical interpretations of Camões poems set to music especially for this occasion.

This event, which celebrates the 500th anniversary of Camões through music, poetry and history, will feature Pedro Miguel Nunes on vocals, Nelson Ferreira on cello and Pedro Vieira de Almeida on piano.

Admission is free but booking is required.
