On Saturday, 6 December, at 9:30 p.m., the Monastery of Saint Andrew of Ancede, in Baião, will host the concert Rorate – Echoes of an Illuminated Song, by the female vocal group Schola Cantorvm Colegiada de Cedofeita.

Inspired by the Rorate Mass, in honour of the Virgin Mary and traditionally celebrated during Advent, the concert programme features Marian antiphons and hymns such as Rorate Caeli, Ave Maria and Gaude Maria Virgo, symbolically evoking the light that breaks through the darkness.

More than a concert, it is an invitation to introspection, silence and spirituality, bridging the past and the present.

Admission to the concert is free, but reservations are required.
