Travelling painting exhibition Route of the Romanesque, an experience founded on History | SCHEDULE:

The painting exhibition Route of the Romanesque, an experience founded on History, by António M. Silva, consists of 58 watercolours, one for each monument on the current Route of the Romanesque.

Conceived in two phases (2006 and 2012/13), this thematic exhibition has since travelled throughout the territory covered by the Route of the Romanesque, in the Sousa, Douro and Tâmega valleys.

António M. Silva was born in 1960 in the parish of Arcozelo, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia. From a young age he worked in the graphic arts as a draughtsman and attended the Soares dos Reis Art School. He has devoted himself mainly to painting, with a notable preference for watercolour.
