Today, the Route of the Romanesque awarded another 41 "Quality Seals", in a ceremony that took place at the Interpretation Centre of the Romanesque, in Lousada.

In 2016, the first 84 "Quality Seals - Route of the Romanesque" were awarded in two different events: the first one took place in the Monastery of Ancede, in Baião, on April 4th; the second one was held against the backdrop of the old Church of Sanfins de Ferreira, in Paços de Ferreira, on December 7th.

In 2018, after the third phase of applications, 41 entities (see attached list) were distinguished, spread across the territory of the 12 municipalities covered by the Route of the Romanesque: 18 accommodation units, 9 restaurants and 14 producers/traders of local products (wine, sweets, embroidery...).

The ceremony that took place at the Interpretation Centre of the Romanesque was attended, among many other guests, by Humberto Brito, president of VALSOUSA - Association of Municipalities of Vale do Sousa (and of the Municipality of Paços de Ferreira), Pedro Machado, president of the Municipality of Lousada, and Alexandre Almeida, president of the Municipality of Paredes.

The "Quality Seal - Route of the Romanesque" is part of the Route of the Romanesque Tourist Product and Service Development System, designed to promote a uniform level of quality of the products and services provided to tourists and visitors in the region.

The Assessment Committee is composed of 10 representatives of academic and associative entities.

The third phase of award of the "Quality Seal - Route of the Romanesque" is part of the project "Tourist Enhancement and Development of the Route of the Romanesque", co-financed by Turismo de Portugal, I.P., through the Valorizar Program - Support Line for Tourist Development in Inland Portugal.
