The Route of the Romanesque continues to invest in the foreign market and will be present, once again, in FITUR - International Tourism Fair, which will take place at the IFEMA Park - Feria de Madrid, in Spain from January 23 to 27.

Seen as an international reference in the tourism sector, the participation in this 39th edition of FITUR is yet another opportunity for the Route of the Romanesque to promote itself among foreign tour operators and to find partners specialized in the cultural touring area, capable of integrating the "Route of the Romanesque" product into international commercial circuits.

The exhibition space of the Route of the Romanesque is part of Portugal's pavilion and may be visited in Pavilion 4, stand 4D02, no. 10.

The 2018 edition of FITUR broke the attendance record with 10,910 exhibitors from 165 countries/regions, 140,120 professional participants and 110,860 visitors from the general public. It was also visited by 7,856 journalists and bloggers.

The participation of the Route of the Romanesque in FITUR 2019 is part of the project "Tourist Enhancement and Development of the Route of the Romanesque", co-financed by Turismo de Portugal, I.P., through the Valorizar Program - Support Line for Tourist Development in Inland Portugal.
