Between the 18th and 22nd of January, the Route of the Romanesque participates in the 43rd edition of FITUR – International Tourism Fair, in Madrid, Spain.

Route of the Romanesque is one of the 92 companies/entities that make up the exhibition space of Turismo de Portugal, located in pavilion 4, reference 4C02, of IFEMA Park – Feria de Madrid.

The seven regional tourism promotion agencies in Portugal are also represented: Porto and North, Centre, Lisbon, Alentejo, Algarve, Madeira and Azores.

FITUR 2023, under the theme "We care for the World. We are Tourism", will bring together 131 countries and 755 exhibitors, led by the Guatemala, which this year is the event's Partner Country. 120,000 professional visitors are expected and, on the weekend, between 80 and 90,000 visitors from the general public.

FITUR is a global reference event in the tourism sector and the leading fair in Latin American market. A unique event to promote brands, present new products, learn about the latest trends and increase contacts.

The Route of the Romanesque participates in FITUR 2023 within the scope of the project "EEC PROVERE Tourism for All: Enhancing, Boosting and Promoting Tourism Across the Region", co-financed by Norte 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
