Between 24 and 28 January, the Route of the Romanesque is taking part in the 44th edition of FITUR – International Tourism Trade Fair, in Madrid, Spain.

The Route of the Romanesque is one of the 116 companies/entities taking part in Turismo de Portugal's 1200 m2 exhibition space, located in pavilion 4 of the IFEMA Park – Feria de Madrid.

Over the weekend, the space will feature a vast programme of leisure and cultural activities, including gastronomic tastings, wine tastings and presentations of destinations, such as the Route of the Romanesque, which will be promoted on Saturday 27 at 18.30.

The new Turismo de Portugal campaign, entitled "It's not Tourism. It's Futourism." A commitment to 12 objectives for the tourism of the future, one for each of the 12 months of the year, based on sustainability and the protection of the planet and the communities that inhabit it.

FITUR 2024 will bring together more than 130 countries and 8,500 exhibiting companies. This year, Ecuador is the organisation's partner country.
