The Route of the Romanesque will once again be present at the AR&PA - Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage, between 26 and 28 November, in digital format.
Focused on the theme of Heritage resilience, the 202.0 AR&PA Biennial will be attended by around 130 exhibitors.
All initiatives will be available on the event's online platform, free of charge, upon registration.
AR&PA is a meeting point and discussion forum for professionals and institutions involved in protecting and managing Cultural Heritage. Thanks to its exhibition area, a great variety of scientific and professional activities and its social programmes, it has become one of the leading trade fairs in the sector in Europe.
The Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage is the result of the fusion, in 2017, of the Biennial of Heritage Restoration and Management AR&PA (Junta of Castile and León), held in Valladolid since 1998, and the Heritage Fair (Spira), an event created in 2013, in Portugal.
The first edition of AR&PA with this Iberian format took place in the city of Amarante, from 13 to 15 October, 2017, and was promoted by the Route of the Romanesque.
The event takes place alternately in Portugal (in a different place every odd year) and Spain (in Valladolid, every even year).
The participation of the Route of the Romanesque in the 2020 AR&PA Biennial within the scope of the project "EEC PROVERE Tourism for All: Enhancing, Boosting and Promoting Tourism Across the Region", is co-financed by Norte 2020, Portugal 2020 and European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
