Mrs. Alice has a strong connection with the Church of Airães. Despite her initial reluctance, she accepted Father Carneiro's invitation, taking on the responsibility, since 2008, of opening the Church for masses, confessions, funerals, weddings...
She was a catechist for 30 years. She keeps good memories: her marriage, the baptisms and communions of her children.
She is very proud of the care that everyone takes with his Church, which, although simple, is very beautiful, recalling the transformations that it has gone through over the years. Furthermore, she states that the Church has more visibility since it became part of the Route of the Romanesque. She participates in the cultural events promoted by the Route, confessing that 'they help to bring people together and to spend a bit of the night.'
