Professor Dias began opening the door of the Church of Boelhe in the early 1990s. In addition to this role, he is sexton, bell-ringer and deacon. His best moment in the Church was when he celebrated a wedding, as the official minister of the ceremony.
He says that tourists, mostly Portuguese, enjoy visiting the Church of Boelhe and comment: 'I liked it! It's beautiful! It's a pleasure to come here!'
He also says that his Church is also sought after for training, by students 'to address topics recommended by their teachers.'
